The power of accurate observation is frequently called cynicism by those who don't have it.

It's on it's way Duncan, could take a while.

Bought basically sight unseen over the Internet. Cosmetically a bit ratty but someone I trust said the bore is very good and it's a shooter. So now we go through the rigmarole of waiting for the PTA (Permit To Acquire) to arrive.

Then it's a case of suggesting to the wife that we pay a surprise visit my darling eldest daughter (who just happens to live near the gunshop).

Moi, devious ?

No, no, no.

Ok, maybe a bit.

All right, all right, I'm totally devious.

Am really envious. Perhaps not of the 'route' via the permits both official (the wife) and governmental but once in your hot sticky little hands it will all seem worth it!

Not much to add until I get my grubby mitts on it Joe.

It is NSW marked and I think I'll have to look for a rear sling swivel but thats about all I know.

The other bit of goods news is that we now have a gunshop in town again so no more 2 hour round trips.

Will of course force myself to take the rifle to the range and test fire once it arrives.

This is going to be a long wait
