No unfortunately I'm not going to make it this year, it's been a bad twelve months for me with family illness and the deaths of our three closet family friends so my shooting has had to take a bit of a back seat this year.
Still there is always next year, although they seem to getting less and less now.
Hope you have a good time and if you see anyone I know tell them I'm asking after them.

Sorry you are not going

A pity you can't go but, as you say, there is always next year. I will take a few pics providing I don't forget the camera.
Regards
Peter.

I attended reasonably well up until 10 yars ago when running a pheasant shoot meant that I had to pick and choose what matches/meetings I could attend. A pity really as I did enjoy the atmosphere despite the NRA wusses and killjoys.
I was berated on the firing point for using a magazine to load the ammo from on a .303 instead of as just a platform. I told him to go away and I didnt renew my membership until section 7 forced me to. I sold the pistols and left the NRA for good!
I only go to club events there now!

The week before last I was staying at my sister's home in England for a few days and I was lucky enough to get up to Bisley for a day. Its about a 45 minute drive from her home. As per usual, I didn think, or I could have waited and went to the Trafalgar meeting. The last time I was at Bisley was around 20 years ago. It was nice to see round the place again, and it seems Fultons shop hasnt changed at all. My brother in laws Aunt works at the National Smallbore Rifle Association, so I got a nice tour round the building. I did a bit of shooting with the small bore target rifles but that was about it. I do plan to return next year during one of the big meetings.

Me (Chris) and Mrs Goblin (Laura) will be there.
We're on century Saturday doing most of the 200yard snaps and stuff, and Melville Sunday for me to make some smoke with the revolver :-)
You won't mistake us, she'll be the only mad American there shooting everything (including the McQueen, with iron sights) with her No5 :-)

I hope to make Sunday; if only to do a bit of shopping, I may do the mad minute it all depends on time.

Hi All,
Although not shooting I will be wandering about however J-D my Staffordshire will not be with me as I now have a cross breed and taking both and imposing on friends for overnight accomodation is pushing things too far since my move north.
I have a couple of things to pick up from the trade show (Hopefully) and might try to sell a few bits likea spare P-H 7A, new No5 rear sight a P-H17B for the Webley Mk111 and No4 fore sight adjuster (modern re-pro) which I no longer had need for. Hmm I should have a P-14 P-H 5 target sight somewhere as well.
I mentioned the dog as he was well known at the Bisley shows!
