Just received my copy of the latest, 2007, edition.

This is a truly superb book and one that no lover of the Lee-Enfield ought to miss out on; over 600 pages all told.

So long for now, got some readin' to do

GOT AN OLD COPY...........

Duncan,

Could never afford one before but it's on Special at the moment.

Just put 'Skennerton' into Google and go from there.

£49.95 at Fultons, just finished it and although he has committed the sin of printing gibberish over the L42A1 ammo without checking and a few typos it is a very good book!

Is it worth the spend just to upgrade from the old one ?

Depends if you've got the old one :D

Possibly not, but for anyone that hasn't got a copy at all and is interested in L-Es then the current offer is real value.

I'd say there is enough new material to justify buying it, if you're a diehard Enfield fanatic, that is. Most of us qualify as that, alas.

I had it bought for my birthday, it goes nice with my earlier edition. :D
