S&W M1917 Brazil

Rode hard, but always good cared for, trigger breaks at 770g like glass, barrel is nice and shiny :mrgreen:

not to get to technical , and as it is a M1917 at its roots the brazillian contract was a model 1934 , it is truely everything the M1917 was with the addition of that beautiful crest

Not to be even more technical, but the Brazilian contract was the S&W Model 1937, not '34 :razz:

Anyway, the Brazilian contract pistols occasionally will have USGI proofed parts, as S&W was notorious for using whatever they had on hand to build them, including NOS Model 1917 parts.

Cool, I need a 17 S&W to go with my Colt. Have you got a Colt to go with it?

The SW sure is pretty with the bluing unlike the Colt parking. I had to pass on a mint SW 1917 with near perfect bluing. It was either that or fuel oil.
