but do the Martini-Henry and the Martini-Metford/Enfields share a common barrel length ?

Yes - most of the Martini-Enfields were a direct conversion of a Martini-Henry, using all of the parts except for the barrel and often the breechblock. Often the original MH forend has a full-length liner, and the MH bands bushed, to be re-used with the new smaller-diameter Enfield barrel.

The Martini Metfords generally had a 33inch barrel as the Henerys had, but the Enfields had a 30inch barrel the same as the MLE.
