Does anyone have source for buying targets in UK especially the 25/50 meter Slow fire UIT Target?

I'm not sure if they have what your after Douglas, but they carry most competition targets.

If not then an email to them might be a good idea.

I usually buy in batches of 500 for my needs.

The shop is based in the Roberts centre in Bisley and the sell indiviual targets to shooters there, as to how small a number they will post I don't know.

Send them and email and they should give you chapter and verse Douglas.

They are sold in large batches on the site as their main purchasers are clubs for resale to members at point of shoot. One of my clubs has just recieved a £2,000 target order from them, hell I didn't think we hit that many.

Do you need a UK source?

The PL7 is the same as the ISSF 50 metre Pistol Target and is also used in MLAIC 25, 50 and 100m muzzle loading events where it has the designation C50.

Just to be sure, dimensions are: 10 ring = 50 mm diameter, black centre out to 7 ring, measuring 200 mm , white out to 1 ring, measuring 500 mm.

The Muzzle Loaders Association of Great Britain (MLAGB) buys these in large quantities as they are used for most short range shooting events. The targets are imported from France, it being cheaper to import them than buy from UK distributors.

If you have any contacts in Continental Europe you may find a better deal.

Dave,

If you have sources for the targets, please post a link. When someone decides to shoot the Victorian Rifleman Provincial shoot I need to be able to tell them where to find targets.

The MLAGB holds stocks of targets at their ranges at Wedgnock, Warwick. No postal service available though. Non members can shoot on the ranges (50 firing points at 100m, 25 at 50m and 50 at 25m on three seperate ranges each with covered firing points!).

Such targets should be readily available in Europe via shooting sport National Governing Bodies, or even local clubs.
