I have thought about it but there are many items yet to collect I just haven't gotten around to it but if you have some we would sure like to see them.

I don't collect them but they do seem to have accumulated and I've now got more than 1 per rifle.

I've got a half dozen or so. I used to know which one came with which rifle..... but would have a hard time matching them up now.

Some of the ones I got from Century over the years may not be the right oiler for the right weapon. For instance, I got a feeling some of the Turk Mauser oilers really belonged with Mosin Nagants.

I currently have collected over 80 different metal and plastic oilers from mosin nagant, sks, and ak rifles. It is generally cheap and a whole lot of fun. I started to branch out and picked up a Bren oiler this past weekend at the Harrisburg, PA Gun Show.

Looks like you are really into it

Could you tell what oilers I have and what rifles they go to?

I certainly will try. There are few reliable references to use. My local gun shop owner thinks I should write a book on oilers, but I keep telling him I do not know enough to speak authoritatively.

OK, this question has been in here for some time now, so I will give it a try.

The oilers in the picture are IMHO from left to right:

http://milsurpafterhours.com/bb/files/t ... 00_106.jpg[/pic]

1) Yugoslavian M48 oiler.

The Cyrillic lettering on each side of the bottle translate to "oil" and "solvent".

2) Single compartment Mosin Nagant oil bottle with Izhevsk arsenal marking

3) Dual compartment Russian oil bottle.

The Cyrillic lettering on the bottle translates to:

Щ = Shchalock, which is an alkaline solution

Н = Neft, which means oil

4) Dual compartment Romanian oil bottle often found with Romanian Mosin-Nagants but actually it is a later model intended for the use with the SKS.

S = Unknown, but probably a cleaning solvent

U = Ulei which of course means oil.

5) Unknown. I'm open for ideas here.

I don't really collect them, but whenever I can I add one to my collection.

....I guess that means I do collect these too. ;)
