Been to Bordeaux this afternoon looking for a second hand O/U shotgun and came back with a new Marocchi Trapper 12g O/U for 289€ / £216 / $426.

Nice gun Duncan, isn't there something wrong with the barrels though, they seem to be turned 90 degrees to the stock.
I'd get that sorted mate.

AND THE ANSWER IS!

61.5cm / 24.2" Peter

No, it's the stock that is turned 90º to the barrels Adam

so it should be OK.
I was hoping to shoot some patterns plates tomorrow afternoon with BP cartridges but the weather is siling it down at the moment so I might have to wait till Wednesday / Thursday

very nice Duncan , Ignore the old fashioned idea that Adam has about the orientation of the barrels . With the over under configuration you dont get the muzzle flip that you get from the antiquated side by sides.
Perhaps Adam would like to add a comment about the merits of the coal burner he likes to use
