S&W 44 Magnum

I went to the range last Saturday, it was bitterly cold. A friend brought his S&W .44 magnum and I got to fire off a few rounds. The revolver originally came with rubber grips and was comfortable enough to shoot as 44 magnums go, but he purchased these wooden ones and its now a whole different ball game to shoot. The grips are quite big and have sharp edges at the bottom. When using a two handed grip the sharp edges dig into your hand upon firing. It really wasnt a pleasant experience.

I used to have a Model 29 before the ban, i think i could stand the unpleasant experience of shooting that one Ian!

Believe it or not, my wife likes to fire this one better than any of my others.
