I picked up one of these Greener Police Gun cartridges last week,

This must have been one of the last runs off cartridges manufactured,

dated 15th December 1966.

Loaded with No. 4 shot.

They must have cost a fortune to manufacture and were for use only in the Greener Police Gun which had a firing pin especially designed only to fire these cartridges.

Just the business for my police gun.

Take them to the range next time and we'll shoot them off.

I know where there is a stash of those, or there was a year ago.

That's something you don't see photos of every day. Particularly with the connection to those metal case shotgun shells.

Do those cases reload? The crimp hard to do?

I use standard 16 gauge shotgun shells in mine. All you do is glue 1 wrap of photocopier paper, I use a Pritt stick, round the hull and there you have it instant 14 gauge Greener police gun cartridge. :D

first factory ammo I've seen for them there are places that you can get case's for reloading them but they don't have the groove you have to modify your firing pin to use them.
