Like new "Suoem Leijona" .22lr Matchrifle made by Valmet the year I was born.

Now I look like this  for one week at least.

that is a fine looking rifle

The stock looks like a sculpture all by itself.

Noticed the wording on the metal. Was it made particularly for sale in an English speaking country or were all of them made like that, do you think?

"Suoem Leijona" the Finnish Lion. The crest on the receiver.

Lovely and very accurate rifle Chris.

Here's the link to the Finnish Lion pages on the HARC web site stickied at the top of this forum

Yes, the Lion crest is cool, saw many differnd models of the rifle on my visit to Tampere Gunshow, prices were pretty high and most rifles were used much.

There is not mcuh information on the net, the artikle on the english site is by far the best.

Anybody got a manual for the gun???????

One of my gunclub's sold one recently for peanuts.

I didn't take it as it had a thumbhole stock for a righty and I'm a left hander when I shoot.
