when I slugged my Type 99.......

I noticed the slug gave way not to far from the muzzle.

I fell to the reciever about 8 inches from the muzzle,

unlike my #4 Lee. I had to beat the slug all the way to

the reciever and finally dropped out at the throat.

The slug I used was .320, seemed plenty big enough

for the purpose.

Is my barrel shot out?

Also does this rifle have a very deep throat? I made a dummy round with a 150 grain Hornady and it didn't reach

the rifling. I read that the original loading is with 185

grain bullet, so it's longer than 150 grainer.
