Hello all,

Haven't posted in here for a long time.

My apologies for that.

Had to solve some problems.

I promise I will do better from now.

To start with....here are some pictures of our family vacation to Luxembourg.

We spent 3 weeks over there and had a FANTASTIC time.

This is how we lived for three weeks

As every year we drove over with our caravan and explored the country.

I want to share some pictures with you.

Enjoy.

First some pictures of the city of Viande.

To get to the castle on top of the mountain we used a cable car.

We had to walk the last mile or 2.

Picture from the cable car looking down on the town of Viande.

Some of the items inside the castle.

Airgun from the late 1600’s

Air gun close up.

We also went to a very small town called Esch-Sure.

This town hasn’t changed much since the middle ages.

The buildings I mean.

The people of Luxembourg are very proud people, but they also know that freedom is something worth fighting for.

They still remember those who came over from the USA to give them back their freedom in 1944.

I went to the General Patton memorial and the Patton museum in the city of Ettelbruck.

Did you know that Gen Patton survived the war, but was killed in a car accident in Heidelberg, Germany and was buried in the city of Hamm in Luxembourg???

Here are some pictures.

The statue of Gen Patton is over 10ft high.

We walked down a very well known “Avenue” to the “Musee Patton” , the Patton Museum, named after this famous general.

Here are some pictures of the items that can be seen in the museum.

Many of these items are behind glass, so some pictures have a “not so good” quality.

So far some pictures of our trip to Luxembourg.

I made over 700 pictures, but I think you get a good idea of what Luxembourg looks like by just looking at the ones I posted.

I think Luxembourg is a very beautiful country with very nice people.

I hoped you enjoyed looking at the pictures as much as I enjoyed making them.
