Milsurp After Hours

posted this in accoutrements a while back but got no replies, so i thought i would give it a try here.





i have a K98 mauser on lay away until my variation comes through, so i picked up this bayonet for the rifle at a recent armsfair.


the serial no.`s dont match but it is in nice condition and came with the leather frog.


i am not too clued up on german kit so any info would be appreciated.

frog has a keeper strap, is this for mounted use?
