A selection of just some of the American Warbirds that gathered at this years Flying Legends Airshow, Duxford airfield, Cambridgeshire.

There were 3 B17's in attendance, "Pink Lady" from France, "Liberty Belle" from the USA, and the resident "Sally B" unfortunately in a static role.

Great shots Joe.

Can't understand the attraction of the P39, it's just an ugly aircraft. Its to aircraft as the MAS 36 is to rifles.

mmmmmm The Beaufighter, now your talking, is that one of the Aussie marked Beaufighters? In one of your museums?

Steven Grey of the Fighter Collection at Duxford is restoring his Beaufighter JM 135 to flying condition, and it will be in RAAF far east markings.

A couple of pics i took in July.

Not one of ours (the aussie version I mean). There are only 2 aussie versions still in existence, I'm not sure if either flys. Try this link for some excellent photo's, especially the second page.

I'm not sure where the one in the photo is, just one I've collected somewhere.

This is a link to one of the aussie ones -
