Here are a few pics from the Trafalgar Meeting at Bisley. It was much the same as last year, a good week-end away. I didn't take many photos this year and I have had a problem with downloading them from the camera. They are not downloading properly for some reason so are not as good as they should be. Anyway a few pics.
A few details in progress.
These two came in costume.
An RIC Carbine with a serial number in the 200s.
The Cadets worked the butts and some came out for a few shots.
Swedish sniper.
Snap shoot
Fultons
Coming home - oh dear a poorly car.
On our way
Over for another year. Hopefully I will be back again next year.
Regards
Peter.

So..when the truck towed the car, did you ride with it? What about your rifles? Keep them locked in the truck maybe?
Rode in the truck

We rode home in the breakdown truck with the car. We were with the car the whole time and never told anyone what was in the boot (trunk).
I don't know what is up with the computer. The pictures are fine on the camera and were fine when I downloaded them to another computer but were dark when I downloaded them onto this machine. This machine is well past its sell by date now as it is a good few years old and is still running windows 98SE and crashes alot. I will get another sometime soon and dump AOL as that keeps losing connection, wether that is due to this computer or a problem with AOL I don't know. The bad AOL connection started when they upgraded me to a router instead of the old modem. The router is wired as this machine is not wireless enabled. I will sort something out in the near future, hopefully.
Regards
Peter.

My router is Wi Fi but I use the ethernet cable all the time, you get a better, faster connection by cable.
AOL - wouldn't touch them with a 100' barge pole, they messed up my system twice, once in the UK and once here.

The trafalgar meeting that would be the one organised, staffed and run from scratch by the "Elitist" Southern HBSA then for many years?
Glad to see the NRA is still willing to make money from other peoples ideas, most of the RO's are HBSA and LERA and most of the firing points full of members. For an elitist org that puts more people through the ranges on the NRA open days than other clubs combined!
Glad to see they are still shooting strong and well!

I wouldn't necessarliy put LERA under the same elitist banner but the HBSA, well they just out NRA the NRA. They are two parts of the same arrogance and clique coin to be sure.

I updated this post to post the photos direct instead of via Photobucket that no longer works.

Peter.

From a dozen years ago. Doesn't seem that long ago.
