A NEW, OLD find...

.. I got a bunch of VZ24's, bought in CANADA about 20 years ago, all in poor conditions AND i bought a bunch of receivers in Vz24 and FN (2 FN).
AND lo and behold, I just checked a VZ24 with the BRNO markings on the receiver and the Vz24 on the rail. The stock looked beat, with a metal strip "repair" of the top hand guard in front of the receiver and a dirty, oily appearance in total!
I took a cleaning patch soaked with Hoppes #9 three times and a brass brush 2 times, a clean patch 4 times and... LO AND BEHOLD... a clean, sharp, crisp bore!!!
I bought the stuff wanting only the receivers, not thinking of a shooter, but this "thing" is good to go!!
I just have to clean up the stock, clean up the grime and grease, and I have a happy shooter!!
I don't want to boast, BUT I'm happy as shit, to get a (what I consider) a potential great shooter!!
I think I paid $25 for a "very poor" Vz24!!
I'm dancing!! ..LOL...LOL..
The Serial is xxxx J3
