New toy

Heres a picture of my newest aquisition. Its an Australian International Arms M10 A1 carbine in 7.62x39.

Yes I'd be interested in more info.

I've shot one and enjoyed it, the 7.62x39 should make a good cast boolit cartridge so I was thinking of getting one for that.

Any chance of a chamber cast and some dimensions, especially the throat.

I'm told, although I haven't tried it meself, that a Lee-Enfield, or anything else in .303 can have the barrel shortened at the chamber end and after minimal rechambering, become a 7.62 to handle the shorter cartridge. Just what is done to the extractor I don't have a clue. Would seem to make a far cheaper alternative and if a No 1 were used a 'sweeter' rifle.
