2A1 at the range today

Post by PeterN2 » Sun Feb 22, 2009 12:21 pm

I took my 7.62 Indian 2A1 to the range today for my first shoot with it at longer range. I shot it at 300, 500 and 600 yards. I thought It shot very well. The sights were spot on for the range. I was shooting some 1985 dated RG military ball. There was a stiff breeze blowing left to right but it would put the bullets in the black if I used a bit of aiming off towards the left hand edge of the target frame to allow for the wind. I forgot to take the camera so no pics.

25 DTL and 30 sporting at the clays yesterday and 68 rounds downrange today makes for a good weekend for me :)

Regards

Peter.

Sounds like you had a good time then Peter.

When I got up there was thick mist so no point in going to the range. A pity as I feeling better today and would have enjoyed some .22! Oh well, next week I suppose......

Peter, you got to shoot 50 more rounds than i got through my No. 4 on Saturday. We were at Whipperdale and it was a screaming gale up there, the shoot was knocked on the head after lunch.

Pleased to hear your 2A1 is a good'un. :D
