Thought that some of you might be interested in this link. It came from the demise of Target Gun which was the UKs last semi decent gun comic. It went belly up last month due to lack of advertising revenue.
A handfull of the contributors got together to produce this online only version called Target Shooter.
Its currently free the income supposedly coming from advertisers although they are getting the first three months free to kick it off, be interesting to see if its still viable then. Its hosted via the cloud computing site Scribd so is a bit clunky in use but you can download it as PDF. You need to register with Scribd to down load, its free just the same as here. Email address, username and password.
I've had no bother from them since I signed up and you just down load as usual.
Like the US gun comics its big weakness is that it is very advertiser sensitive so no challenging reviews, every product is wonderful.

Gave up in frustration.

Why do they have to complicate things keep it simple and people will use it.
They seem to think everybody that has a puter is a tec head. Keep it simple. I probably will never visit the site again. To mutch of a chew on.

Dave why don't you give Target Shooter your feedback?
Its in their interests to have people return visit, if they don't know of user problems then they have no chance at all of addressing them.

That's a good point Adam. Maybe we forget to do things like that because of the number of people who totally ignore comment but I will contact them and lets see what happens. I tried to download it as a PDF and it wouldn't do it yesterday. Will have another bash today as it is p#**#ng down with rain and I am stuck indoors.

Duncan have you signed up to Scribd?
You need to do this before you can download the pdf, as well as emailing the team you can leave a message on the site.
Once you have "subscribed" to Target Shooter you will get a welcome email from one of the lads to whom you can then respond to direct.
The technology isn't instant but if you value the content and the idea then its worth a little effort, hells teeth its a damn site easier than trying to find a shooting comic on a news stand.
Giving up on things because they aren't easy or instant is a post modern malaise of which we should all beware.
Remember "endeavour to persevere"
