Milsurp After Hours

Can anyone guide me in the right direction. I need information on how to remove the front sight to in stall the small barrel ring. or is there another way to get the ring past the front sight ?

I see the rings are split and can be split open I can see this as damaging the ring so I will not attempt this. I stll think the best way to replacing the front ring is to remove the front sight hood.
