It's a good job they had mountains to support it on :shock: That is a whopper of a scope! I wonder what sort of vibration it had when fired as the unsupported length is huge?

What are the specifics on the scope? When was it manufactured?
How are the windage and elevation adjustments made?

That scope is for a so-called Scharten-Mg, these were Mg11 machineguns that were used in fortresses and bunkers. Some Swiss guy did put it on a long 96/11 and it looks nice but was nothing official.
