I wish we had some ranges with 'trenches' over here  I thought Joe was taller than that though

I was thinking those holes were pretty deep too. Do you get a ladder to help you climb out?

The old crocks in the club need ladders to get in and out, here is my method......

Incidentally, i was using reduced loads with cast lead boolits in case any one is wondering about the lack of recoil.

Now that was interesting Joe. Didn't know you were a youtube kind of shooter.

I used to be young and spry too... wonder if I could spring out of that hole like you did?

Maybe I could manage a time or two. Slow, panting, struggling spring that is.

Robert, i just figured out how to use the movie function on my Nikon Coolpix camera, the only problem is it wont upload to my hotmail or photobucket so you -tube is my only option.

I,ll be deleting it shortly anyway.

You ought to leave it up. I got a kick out of seeing it.

Over here the only things most commonly found in holes in the ground are rabbits and funnelwebs. Being a confirmed arachnophobe I have a deep suspicion of holes in the ground. I'd need to fire a few rounds into the hole before I got in - probably wouldn't make me very popular at the range :D

Still, in the event of a richochet or explosion its only the unimportant things like your head that is exposed.

The trenches on this barrack range have a wooden cover and are usually full of webs and spiders, the army dont seem to use them very much. However the ETR, Gallery ranges etc. without covered trenches usually contain frogs, toads and the odd rabbit which we have to evict before moving in.
