Son Dan and I went hunting West River this past week.
Finally managed to fill three tags.
Got this little 4x4 with the Hussquvarna/FN I pcked up a year or so ago.
It has a pretty good wallop and handles beautifully;very nice to carry also.
I may have a new favourite!(Amazing how "old"some cameras make one appear!)

What caliber is your Husky John?
Weather looks good where you are, i thought you would be waist deep in snow out there by now.
Nice beastie btw.

8x57mm,handloads of 195 grn Hornady and 46 grns of Reloader 22.
The rifle is a post-war sporter built by Husquvarna on an FN commercial action.
All I've done is put an old Redfield target receiver sight on in the already existing tapped holes.
Can't wait to try elk hunting in Colorado with it.She carries very well.
Weather was absolutely beautiful 55+ degrees no wind.A very nice Great Plains Indian Summer.
Now if I could get the date right on the camera....

Yes you should fix the date problem ASAP if the date shown is not within the legal hunting season.......just playing the Devil's advocate here....

You have to keep an eye on Duncan, he seems quite adept at refinishing photos. In fact, you should see some of the copies of euros that he has printed, they are.......... um, never mind.
Anyway, you gave yourself away this time Duncan, in the US the date is usually month/day/year. Unless you have a 19th month, we don't.

I like the sounds of that, I'm headed for ebay to get me an 'international camera', that way I can take pictures in every country I go to.
