Milsurp After Hours

I was out looking at furniture Friday afternoon.
Some sales going on in the area, & I need a place to recline in my great room.
Stopped by a local gun shop that is going out of business soon, closing his doors for good by the end of 2009.
Here is what I took home instead of the required furniture.

It is new in box from 1994 or 1995 when Bill Clinton decided he needed to punish the Chinese by denying us NORINCO made firearms.

See that long, narrow recoil spring between the barrel & frame? There is a tiny lip that it rests on, & while taking pictures, I heard a little "ping", & the only clue I had as to where it went was when I saw the cat run to the corner of the room & stare at it.




I shot five rounds of pistol ammo onto a small steel target in my backyard from 15 yards away, offhand.
It appears to be accurate, even in my shaky hands!

There is always next year to shop for a sofa, recliner & love seat!

Got a camp stool you can have!! Don't get so close for closeup's.

Hint! Don't get so close for closeup's. Check your cameras focal length - say it is 90cm - and then ADD another 20cm and take the picture. You can ALWAYS enlarge a sharp image but you can't focus an out of focus one A good idea is to attach a wrist strap to the camera ( some are supplied with them) that is the length of the minimum focus distance so it is easy to measure the required distance from the item being photographed

That's a great looking pistol. Looks like it shoots really good too. A real keeper for sure.
