Well I did a little horse trading with oldironsights, had a MkIV enfield that I got in pieces and decided I'd like to have a Mosin,at first I just wanted a M44 or M38 and he contacted me that he had a M44 we could swap....that kinda turned into a sporter I got from the local shop for some cash I had coming from his son after selling some old stuff to him.
Then I ran into that 91/30 which turned out to be an ex-sniper~surps are like that,no? one becomes many!
Anyway me and,may I call him Clay? did a swap,I got the M44 Izzy and he got the 1950's MkIV barreled action and stock (I still own him the bayo-which I need to find,it's amongst my things somewhere) and some parts that came with it,better then 50% of the rifle I'd say at a guess.
Sorry about the pic,I'll get some good ones outside tomorrow when the sun's up.

I did fire off a few shots tonight,a Mosin carbine at night is less like a rifle and more akin to a cannon! huge fireball and one hell of a racket! but gawd is it fun!
Oh and I got the tin of ammo from Dunham's today.
