Fletch, I feel so inadequate with just the one (milsurp) No.2 Mk.I* revolver. I did recently watch a TV show about the development of the Luger. Quite an improvement over the original design. I'm probably the only one on the planet that just never warmed to them.

Not me neither! I had quite a few in the 1960s when I was a pistol dealer (licenced :!: ) but I never had any desire to keep one. They always brought good money especially the longer barreled ones and particularly if they had a shoulder stock.

I'd like a Luger. Just don't want to come up with the money.

My main interest as you can see is British Small arms. As a kid I had a die cast Webley (marketed as a Commando pistol) and a PO 8 (Luger). When I became older and wealthier I started to aquire my boyhood dreams. The Luger was one of them. I like the point of aim capabilities of the Luger but I feel it is fussy with what you feed her. The 9mm cartriges have to be just right, if not I tended to get jams in the form of stove pipes, if you know what I mean.

Any way my favorite hand gun is the .455 Webley Mk VI.
My favorite bolt action rifle is the SMLE Mk 111.
My favorite semi auth is the FN FAL. Had one in the army.
Sub machine gun, Hmmm. 1928 Thompson or STEN Mk 2 or MP38, descisions, descisions?
