Hello all,
I am looking for confirmation that the TOZ8 .22 rifle was actually used as a Military Trainer , I believe it was but I can find no evidence that supports this.

Through my years of staged military training : Army Cadets, TAVR, Royal Marine Commando's, we had some variation of training aids... but mostly fairly standard MOD approved, and we did have a few items of foreign use (especially in the RM's). The name of the weapon doesn't ring any bells with me, but maybe if you have a picture or two to wash off the cobbwebs?

Chris (AWO425) might have the answer to this question.
I know he owns a TOZ8.
He made a post on this rifle a little over a year ago in this forum.
Here's the link.

Haven't heard Chris much lately though.
I hope he reads this.
Met vriendelijke groet,

In Soviet Union first time You shooting .22 Cal. rifle in school(8 grade). Before finishing Hi School You have little experience with AKM(Kalashnikov 7.62x39). But Toz-8( or Toz-8M, or Toz-12) in school,- is always The First.
