The value of Ammo Pouches.

Many of us remember the days when we would order a rifle from Century...or somebody they supplied ..... and along with a rifle for anywhere between $50 and $150, depending on what and when, would come "free" ammo pouches, oil cans, cleaning tools, and bayonets complete with scabbard and often frog. I got this in a junk email today from IMA. Who would have thought of this as a "special"?

They seem a tad expensive Robert. I would sooner put the 100 dollars towards a rifle.

You won't find me buying any of them, Joe. I got a file cabinet draw full of pouches and another full of bayonets. If I sold off that stuff maybe I could buy a nice rifle. Only trouble is......I'm not sure what pouches go with what gun. I made a post about this before.

I'll have to dig out the bayonets.
