I asked about this sight below and now have it to hand
Obviously a windgauge

Image

It fits on the Martini and Long tom perfectly sleeve as shown

Image

It is marked BSA and has a knurled, numbered knob so as to adjust for repetable windage

Thanks for the identification
I had trawled through rifleman.org but hadn't hit the right id, that site has really grown over the years and is so full of information

Well of course Douglas; just send me your postal details, an as yet undetermined sum of money for postage and packing and of course your bank details, no problems

Seriously I am not a target shooter so could be persuaded to sell

I wonder if this might not be slide for a Ross rifle sight?

After the way i shot this weekend in Alberta, I'm not sure it would help.
