Finn 1891 "Liege proofed" VKT/B barrel.

I recently got this 1891 "B" barrel Finnish Mosin Nagant at an on-line estate sale. I was pretty sure it was a "B/VKT" barrel and thought there was an outside chance it had the Liege proof.
Well, it arrived and turns out it is a "B/VKT/Liege proofed" model. Bore is excellent, most of the metal is very good, although the magazine has suffered some loss of blue. Bolt matches the serial number, floor plate does not.
The stock is in excellent condition, but appears to be very dry. Anyone have a suggestion for something to treat the stock with that would "moisturize" it a bit?
Thanks

Outstanding score CalFed!
I hope to run across one of these in the wild one day.
Let us know how well she shoots.

Thanks, OIS.
I was looking a bit more carefully and found this proof on the side of the barrel. A "36" with a "VKT" then a "00"

Not sure exactly what that signifies. Any ideas?

The 3600 is a pressure proof. VKT proofed it.
?3600 atmospheres, tons or other metric unit of pressure?
Now, break out the Wrigleys DoubleMint gum & start chewing, cause you got two rifles in one.
Now, you don't need to look for a "B" barrel or a VKT M91 for your collection!

Fantastic find Calfed.
Congratulations.
About the dry stock...you might have found the answer already, but I used boiled linseed oil on the stock of my VKT M39.
Worked fantastic.
Met vriendelijke groet,
Martin

Use ' the Armourer's Choice' raw linseed oil, first coat applied to a warm stock.
Sleep with it for a night then oil
