Project: Wood grips for Enfield revolver

I made wood grips for my Enfield No2 Mk1. Completely hand carved from a plank of mystery hardwood. Next time I'll use walnut. I was just messing about, but I'm quite happy with the results. those are the nicest reproduction grip scales i have seen , very nice work

Great job! The wood looks like poplar to me it sometimes is that light.

Thanks. The checkering tools are on the way. Soon I'll be making grips from walnut or oak that look closer to the original. Maybe I'll throw a few sets on ebay and gunbroker. Start to pay off the student loans.
