The annoying thing with ships is they are made in classes. So you get very similar ships with different names.
Nothing to lose but my pride I'll go with HMAS Nelson ............. or maybe HMAS Rodney.
Nelson, ......... no wait Rodney, no Nelson ...........no Rodney.
How about the Rodson or the Nelsney ?
Tosses coin. Consults the Gods.
Nelson.

I don't see a crane on the port side at the waist, so I'll guess HMS Rodney,
but without knowing what year the photo was taken, it's a coin toss.

woftam, why HMAS?

Vern.

woftam, why HMAS?
Over enthusiasm ?
Common (in australia anyway) usage ?
Senility ?
Stupidity ?
Pick one, cause I can't explain it.
