Milsurp After Hours

Today I went to Bisley to pick up the Long Lee , the seller had traveled from Bristol to Bisley for the Spring Action Weekend ,a series of gallery rifle events , and I had travelled from Essex , so this rifle has travelled virtualy the width of the country today .
This is a BSA manufactured training rifle in .22 lr , its in very good condition considering its about a hundred years old , does any one know how these can be dated exactly . S/N 16** . On the knox form there is the BSA logo of the piled rifles which has been over stamped with RLR , any ideas what that is for , its not original as its a deeper stamp than the rest of the logo .
I will be at the range tommorow , I will get some photos up then .

Hi Joe .

Thanks for the link I know it well . Terence who runs the sight is in my club we battle it out for first place in club comps , he hasnt seen the rifle yet .
photos I have done some then I lost everything on photobucket my fault pressed the wrong button . I will get some up asap .

What a gem Dave, luck ba---------------person

My pal has one of the conversions for the RN Dave and i shot it alongside my No8 a few years back, I remember it shot extremely well but i am buggered if i can remember any details on it now.

I did take a few schnaps of it though.
