why would they keep it?

Ran into an oldman who has a Norwiegian Krag! And could care

less about it and won't give it up. And said when he dies he doesn't

care what his wife does with it. A 6.5x55 Norweigian Krag Carbine.

Sound rare?

Either way, if it's any kind of Norwegian Krag, it automatically qualifies as rare :)

I guess I'll stick with my Danish Krag, the cheapest (most undervalued) of the Krag family.

That's the sadest part he doesn't even know what kind of rifle it is.

Nor does he care.

"...Sound rare?..." Nope. Sounds like a guy that competely understands death. Likely a W.W. II vet.

Maybe the rifle is not as important to him as Where he got it or from who or some story to do with it.

.....maybe you should just make friends with his wife.
