I'n new to this forum and just sayin' howdy .
I've been in love with my '43 Longbranch for 34yrs now , which unfortunatly was sporterized .It always was and still is my main deer hunting rifle .
Collectable , original Enfields are pretty hard to come by around here , and when one pops up the price is way too high for me .I found however that I could restore at about half the cost...so after I restored the Longbranch , I found a sportered Savage in VG shape for $50 ...yup restored it too. A while later I picked up a 1916 BSA No.1Mk111* , another $50 fixer-upper , VG shape , matching serial #'s ...good gawd...I'm hooked...is there any help for me ??
