WWII submarine Drum

I took about a zillion snaps at Battleship Park recently. Some of them were of the USS Drum submarine. It sits on dry land now...thanks to hurricanes that put it there...mostly where it is now.

NOT a branch of the Navy that I would have served in given any choice.........I am happier ON the oggin rather than under it :)

That reminds me, I loaned a former submariner some money once. It wasn't much money. Good thing I haven't needed it since.


Yeah Duncan I can understand your feeling about it..,...but the Navy gave them this neat badge to wear on their shirt...probably impressed the whores..right after the submariner paid for the bounce on the bed.
