NEW CAMERA.................

..............well, new to me any 
I bought my current Canon EOS 350D in September 2005 and have been very satisfied with it and the 3 lenses that I have used over that time.
Problems with both of my arms means that I needed to buy an Image Stabilized lens and while looking for one my wife said "Why don't you see if you can get a newer body too"?
I thought she meant mine but she confirmed that she was talking about the camera.
After a lot of searching and so on I finally decided to but a Canon 55-250 IS tele lens and I also found a place in the UK that had a good selection of used Canon bodies on offer an affordable prices.
They have agreed an exchange price on my 350D body and I have ordered a 500D which will give me an additional 9 million pixels and HD Video as well as many other improvements.
First outing will be Italy from 10th Sept so I am hoping for great things. Can't wait
