by adding a bayonet :D
Been watching them for a while but never got motivated. Then the wife (bless her) said I can't find you anything for fathers day buy yourself something. So I did.
Manufactured 1885, as a P1876 I presume, and converted in 1899.
Scabbard is in good condition for age.

A rifle without it's bayonet is like Bordeaux without wine :loco:

and a bayo without its rifle is similarly less than its whole ,

now to find one , then to negotiate a trade for 1888 springfeild trap door or 1892/6 krag , have bayos for both :>}
