Brenneke Slugs - very effective at 20 yards

I'd suggest hollow base slugs from a Lyman or Lee or similar mould; you might find that they perform better from a rifled barrel.
Looks a solid and powerful gun, probably at both ends

Going to hunt the deer that get into the vinyard? French deer like grapes I'd imagine.

I'd suspect those slug guns would have the advantage of having a shorter extreme range over a rifle if missing its mark? Probably endanger fewer Frenchmen living in vinyards?

Knowing Duncan he would probable miss at 20 yards . Seriously that is one fine looking piece of gunmakers art .hope it shoots as well as it looks am well jealous .
