smle help please

I HAVE A QUESTION. I HAVE BEEN HAVING PROBLEMS WITH A SMLE 303 HEAVY BARREL TARGET RIFLE I THINK THE PROBLEM IS WITH THE FIT OF THE STOCK SEE PICS THIS SMALL PIECE OF WOOD FITS IN REAR OF STOCK.ANYBODY KNOW EXACTLY HOW WERE IT FITS DONT SUPPOSE I CAN GET A REPLACEMENT. I HAVE ALSO MISPLACED THE TRIGGER SEAR SPRING ANYBODY KNOW WERE I CAN GET ONE.
THE BOLT DOSNT COCK IT JUST SLIDES OVER THE SEAR.
I THINK THERE WERE SOME PICS OF THIS ON THE OLD SITE MIGHT OF BEEN JOES NEW STOCK.
AS YOU CAN SEE THE STOCK ALSO HAS A PIECE MISSING FROM THE REAR.

I've seen picks of the damage before...no cheek pins.
Maybe just a shadow I can't clean up, but it looks as if the left recoil block is missing.(?)

Dave, if you are going to Alma Saturday take the stock down and I'll have a look at it, it doesn't look ower clever from here, too many bits to be healthy, the pics are a bit dark and as Brad says I can't get much out of them either in Irfan view

Took the stock to Alma as Adam suggested.
Adam and Stewart both examined the stock and explained how it fitted and what the consequences of wrong fitment.
The bottom line is the stock will be OK and if I fit it as directed Im confident the gun will be as good as ever.
Stewart is one of the partners known as the gun runners both very knowlegible and good people to do buisness with.

dhtaxi, Good to hear that it can be salvaged!
Was the recoil block missing? Where did the small piece come from?
