Olympic village...

Outside the newly-finished Olympic Village, a crowd has gathered as a little old lady is shouting up into a tree where her cat has climbed. Folks are throwing sticks at it to try to get it to come down, but nothing will budge it.
The old girl is becoming more distressed, so this bloke picks up a length of scaffolding from the building site, takes a run up and rises majestically into the air, swoops up the bemused moggy under his arm and returns gracefully to earth, presenting puss to its grateful owner.
“How kind of you, she says, are you a pole vaulter?”
“Nein” he says, “I am German, but how did you know my name?”
