Interesting stuff Duncan.
Intrigued that, on the airfields map, the losses are listed as numbers of planes not men. Almost as if there is a reluctance to acknowledge the magnitude of the losses in human terms.

An interesting observation G but perhaps it is done that way because the figures were only calculated recently - I don't know.
