Spitfires dug up in Burma

Seems some Spitfires were buried in Burma in crates. Now 20 of them could be coming back to England.

We can only hope that the soil that deep is fairly dry, but in that part of the world, I wouldn't bet on it.
It would be great if they were in any type of restorable condition, even if for only static display.
And like Joe, I'll be keeping an eye on this project.... :cool:
