A friend got his cup dischrager and we were playing somewhat
Rifle is my 2A1, we only had 2 blanks an one ball

Did the blank cause the holes in the ball, or was that some later target practise?

Yes, the blank made the holes, first time the ball got some30 meter away and 20m high.
I was told to use the bottom of a tin can under the ball to prevent the hole, but no more blanks so far

sounds like that could be a lot of fun with a lot blanks on hand.
