Well, I was very excited to add an M96 to my collection. Mid-July I purchased an all matching 1917 CG. Stock disk said the bore was a 3, but it looked good and slugged out at 6.51. Dromia: I'll bring my camera next time I go to the range. E-mailed him this morning to confirm my interest and request more details. Kevin: Yep, that seems right - though the one I saw has seen some more handling than yours. So that cheek piece is part of the package? "T" coded Longbranch's ?

I was at the range today, and an acquaintance was there with a few Enfields. One is for sale - though he wants quite a bit for it. Its dated 1950 and its marked Longbranch and had a "T" on the left receiver - which he states made it a sniper variant. I can't tell if its a bubba job or not....
