I've decided to stand down as moderator of this, my favourite forum.

I'll still be here as Admin and if I get more time I'd like to put that into the Military Training Rifle forum

As you know I've moderator here for a few years now and have enjoyed being part of its successes with you all.

However where my life is at the moment means that I cannot devote as much time to this forum as I would like to so that makes it a good time to stand down and let some new blood take over to give some new direction and character to it.

I think you've all made it one of the best Enfield forums on the net bar none, some get more traffic than us but quantity can never replace quality and thats what I feel we have here.

So good luck to our new moderator who will be known to you all as Woftam AKA Graeme, a bloke from the land of OZ.

So be kind to him and continue to give him the support and knowledge that you have given this forum to date, don't be too gentle with him though.

A hearty welcome, Graeme.

Sorry I'm late in putting in an appearance after Adams announcement just a little family business getting in the way. Not a sign of things to come I assure you.

As you so rightly point out Aughanure (thanks for the welcome) it's a tough act to follow.

I don't know a great deal about this moderating lark (yet) so I'll just be playing it by ear and learning as I go. Any and all suggestions, criticisms, advice etc more than welcome.

Graeme,

Come over to

Sincere thanks to Adam for making this forum so welcoming, informative and irreverent and a warm welcome to Graeme.

Will you be continuing Adam's noble sport of Pommie bashing, Graeme? Strangely Brown and I will miss the traditional insults.

Brian,

Thanks for the welcome. I don't know about Pommie bashing, I tend to see myself as an equal opportunity insulter.

I believe there is a range of nationalities on this board to insult. You've got your Poms, there's a couple of aussies, the odd (and I do mean ODD) Scot, not to mention our brethren from across the Pacific (the Atlantic in your case) and possibly more.

Hopefully the board will stay much the same. Not having any particular "style" of my own just yet I suppose I will have to develop some style.

Well look at that ! One post and I've already answered a question, insulted at least one person, left an opening for people to have fun at my expense and thrown up at least one possiblity for a poll at some future time. I hope the job is this easy all the time.
