matching serial numbers.....

It is common to find a T99 with non-matching numbers?

The bolt doesn't match the reciever and the barrel doesn't seem to have a number.

Matching Numbers

Very common for 99's not to match. Barrels dis not have serial numbers but did have inspection marks that denoted what arsenal made them. riceone.

Matching T99 rifles

Post by PeterN2 » Sat Dec 23, 2006 12:45 pm

I have a series 2 Nagoya T99 wth a Matching bolt. I have two TK series 35 long T99 rifles. One has a matching bolt. The bolt on the other is the right number but the wrong arsenal. I suppose someone tried to match it up but didn't realise it was from the wrong arsenal.

Regards

Peter.
