Not having semi-autos is an inconvenience, but it is easier than the UK to get most kinds of good firearms, and pistol shooting is still legal.

If you buy a farm with a serious pest problem, or establish a bona fide feral pest control business, or are a member of the right clay target group, you can get Category C shotguns for limited use. The difficulty level is relatively high, but if you gotta do that, well there is a provision.

This gun law thing IMHO just isn't worth changing which country you choose to live in. Other factors - family, economic, cultural, risk levels - are far more important.
I agree but its a work thing and I need to know if I'm going to have to sell everything before I leave or just not bother!
I'd rather have a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy!
