The weather forecast was good for a change so i decided today was going to be a outing for my Volunteers, the CLLE and the Martini Enfield.
Dromia and i both elected to use the tin hat targets today.

I would have took some more snaps but the batteries of my camera went flat.

Joe, Your Martini Enfield looks to be in pretty good shape!!!! By the looks of your photo its looks as if Dromia's batteries were going flat to

Sorry Dromia couldnt resist!!! For once it was sunny here and our rifle shoot was cancelled so I had to make do with handguns. We had a decent turnout so I got to shoot the following; S&W Mod 29 .44 magnum, CZ Tactical Sport .40 S&W, Browning 9mm, my Beretta 92FS 9mm and a Sig Mosquito .22LR.
Regards
Ian

Joe,
ya teasin' b******d - one shot of that luscious Martini, one lousy bloody shot and then some crap about flat batteries.
Ian,
correct me if I'm wrong but you cancelled the rifle shoot because it was SUNNY ????
Duncan,
am sending you a shovel express post.

I suppose I should have explained that better. The ranges I use are run by the Military and if there is no military shooting we are not allowed to shoot. That was the case yesterday, so our rifle shoot had to be cancelled. It was a damn shame because it was a brilliant day. The past few mnths we have had quite a few range days cancelled. Its a sign of the times here as the number of troops have slowly been decreased. I am seriously considering joining another club that has its own private range.
Regards
Ian

Ah Joe, me old Pith Helmet Polisher, the accuracy is in the detail.
Thats why my Martini shoots tight groups and your shoots shot gun patterns.
